Resort Wedding on Lake Conroe Produced by Videos Wedding Dallas
Jaymie and Phil – La Torreta Del Lago in Montgomery, Texas
For Jaymie and Phil, faith is an important cornerstone in their relationship. Phil explained, “She loves me -unconditionally. It’s weird…and her love for God is pretty sweet, too.” Phil’s amazing faith is Jaymie’s favorite thing about him. The couple was married at the La Torreta Del Lago Resort in Montgomery, Texas.
The lovely Jaymie sparkled in her strapless ballgown with sweetheart neckline and corset closing. Her bodice was covered in large crystals of varying sizes and the skirt was a cloud of tulle. A red ribbon laced the corset. She wore shimmering veil and carried a bouquet of pink and red roses. Her bridesmaids wore short strapless dresses in dove gray. Each bridesmaid carried a bouquet of a different hue.
The ceremony began with a trio of darling little girls in bright pink coming down the aisle, carrying signs which read, “Faith,” “Hope,” and “Love.” Then came a handsome little fellow and his sign said, “The greatest of these is Love.” Jaymie followed with her father.
The couple created their own vows. Jaymie’s were read from a long list with tears in her eyes. Phil didn’t use any notes for his tender but extemporaneous words. The couple’s ceremony included the assembling a unity cross to represent their relationship with each other and with God.
After the ceremony, the photographer gathered the wedding party and families for shots on an outside patio, with beautiful Lake Conroe in the background. Phil was particularly happy about all the kissing the pictures required.
Back inside, the reception had a luau theme complete with leis and colorful beach balls. Their wedding cake was covered in black fondant decorated with red and white. A live guitarist sang beautiful songs to accompany the solo dances. At the end of the evening the crowd sent the couple off into the night with a sparkler farewell.

The Harner family has three daughters. Jaymie is the third to marry in recent years and we’ve been fortunate to be a part of all three weddings. Though most of weddings we record are in here in North Texas, we’ve traveled around the state to film the Harner weddings – one in Austin and this one near Houston.
One of the reasons the Harners used us for all three of their wedding videos is our custom- designed proprietary equipment. They like that we have a remotely controlled camera that gets tight close-ups of the bride during the vows without having a videographer standing near the bride – a real bonus for them as Jaymie tearfully read her precious promises to Phil.
